Putting two twin size bed frames together is the equivalent of a king bed in terms of width, however, the length will be slightly shorter.
To keep two twin beds together, you can use a bed bridge to fill the gap between the mattresses, or place non-slip strips or rubber pads underneath to prevent sliding. Mattress connectors or bed straps are also effective for securing the beds, while a larger bed frame with center support can help keep them aligned. Additionally, industrial-strength velcro strips or mattress tape can be used to fasten the mattresses together, and adding a thick mattress topper or pad can further prevent separation, creating a more seamless sleeping surface
For two twin beds, a 5” x 8” rug is typically a good size to place between the beds, offering coverage while allowing some space around the edges. If you want a larger, more expansive look, a 6' x 9' or 8' x 10' rug can provide more coverage and create a cozy, balanced feel in the room, especially if the beds are placed side by side. Ensure the rug is large enough to extend beyond the edges of the beds to create a cohesive, comfortable space.
Crafted from high-quality, solid wood, a wood twin bed frame is designed to last for years to come. The natural beauty of the wood grain adds warmth and character to any space, while the solid construction ensures that your bed will remain stable and secure.
Our solid wood twin beds are made using sustainable Scandinavian pine that we only source from FSC and PEFC approved forests. We also aim to plant more trees than we use, because we believe in giving back and doing our bit. The slats we use to build the base of our beds are also twice as thick as the industry average, so you know our beds are made to last. Each one even comes with an 11-year guarantee.
