Unlike the California queen with its standard counterpart, the California king bed is not the same width as a standard king. These beds measure 72” x 84” (6ft x 7ft), whereas the standard king bed is wider yet shorter at 76” x 80” (6ft 4” x 6ft 8”). These California king size beds provide enough space for couples to sleep with plenty of room to spare.
