Green Triumph: Celebrating 100,000 Trees Planted in Africa

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our customers, we have achieved a huge milestone - planting 100,000 trees across the landscape of Africa in our tree planting project. To Celebrate 100,000 Trees

In celebration of this incredible milestone, we donated an Oxford Bed with underbed storage and a side table to One Roof Leicester, and our assembly team was delighted to personally set it up on delivery day. This wonderful local charity offers vital support and a safe space to people facing homelessness, including refugees, asylum seekers, and those who are vulnerably housed. One Roof Leicester doesn’t just provide accommodation—they empower people to heal, rebuild, and move forward. Their work also extends to uniting communities to create sustainable housing, advocating for better services, and fostering greater understanding.

World Conservation Day

Each year, on July 28th, people across the globe unite to observe World Conservation Day. This is a day that has been dedicated to the importance of preserving and protecting our natural resources. It’s an excellent opportunity to celebrate our world and coincides perfectly with our incredible 100,000 tree achievement.

Here are a few ways you can join in:

1. Organise a Clean-Up:
   Get involved in or organise a beach, river, or local cleanup. Clearing litter from these areas protects wildlife and helps prevent pollution.

2. Plant a Tree:
   Trees are vital in fighting climate change and offering habitats for wildlife. Search around or organise a tree-planting event in your community. You could even plant a tree in your garden to contribute to the cause.

3. Conserve Water:
   Be mindful of your water usage. Take shorter showers, don’t leave taps running, and collect rainwater for outdoor plants.
